School will reopen on Monday 9th April.

Class 5 Bikeability

Class 5 will complete their cycle training on Wednesday 11th April. They will need to come to school in their own clothes with their bike.

Leavers – We are sad to say goodbye to seven pupils and two students who are leaving our school. The Blake and Leonard families are moving to pastures new; we wish them all the very best in their travels and hope they settle well in their new homes. We also say goodbye to Ronan in Class 1 who is moving to a new school. It is also the last day for our two students Mr Ahmed in Year 1 and Miss Clinton in year 5 who have now completed their teacher training. We wish them every success in their new teaching careers and thank them for their contribution to the school.

Easter Bingo – Thank you to all of those who attended; it was a great family night with a lovely atmosphere and raised £616.22 for the PTFA.

PTFA Readathon – What amazing support from friends and family who sponsored the children. The PTFA have raised just over £900. A very big thank on behalf of the PTFA!

Lenten Fundraising – Thank you for supporting Year 6 fundraising this Lent. They had a fantastic week raising £481.97 for CAFOD. Classes 4 and 5 raised £60.15 between them. Which bring the total raised for CAFOD to £542.12 which is fantastic! Thank you to everyone who has taken part in any way. Please see photographs below.

Dogs on the School Grounds – We have had several occasions of dogs fouling within the school grounds. Please can we remind parents that dogs are NOT allowed on school grounds for health and safety reasons. If your dog fouls on the pavements please be considerate to others and remove the waste!

Easter Bonnet Parade – What marvellous creations were brought into school! The children must have been very busy, so a big thank you to those who made a bonnet and brightened our Easter celebrations. Please see photographs below.

Swimming – Year 3 will continue each Friday through the Summer Term.
