‘With Love We Grow’

Eco Council

Eco Brick Project
Our children are busy at home making eco bricks. These are a great way to recycle single use plastic instead of putting it into the bin. They will be used to make furniture for our outdoor classroom.

Pope Francis has written a letter addressed to every person on the planet, asking us all to protect the earth. How will you play your part to protect our common home?

The work of the Eco Council should help us all to better understand this message and to understand how we can all play a part.

Laudato Si'

The Eco Council is made up of Year 6 children who have been democratically elected by their classmates. These children have demonstrated a commitment to 'green' issues and want to make a difference. They have many ideas to try out in order to help us to be more aware of recycling; waste and the effect on the environment;  energy saving; sustainability and wildlife.
