Home Learning wb 1st March
Hello. I hope you and all your family are continuing to keep safe and well.
Monday heralds the first day of meterological Spring with, hopefully, some sunny days ahead and the final week of remote learning before all Year 5 pupils will be together again in class. Thank you to all Year 5 pupils, whether they have been in class or at home, for their remarkable patience, resilience and superb attitude to adapting again to the changes which happened in early January. I have seen and received lots of excellent work over the past weeks. Thank you also to all parents, carers and other grown ups who have supported, encouraged and helped to work alongside the pupils enabling them to keep as focused as possible and try their best during these unpredictable and challenging times - I am sure, like me, you are ready to see your child return to class where a warm welcome awaits.
For this week, amongst the usual timetable which shows what maths, literacy, science, RE and other foundation subjects will be covered, I will be including ideas for World Book Day which will take place on Thursday 4th March. There are live lessons with well known authors and illustrators to stream into and a fun art activity for all Year 5 pupils to have a go at involving potatoes!
As usual, please keep in touch if you have any questions or need any assistance with anything.
Thank you and best wishes,
