School Day

Reception Gate 

The gate will be opened at 8.45 am and the children may walk into school. The gate will be closed at 9 am. Staff members willl man the gate for 15 minutes. The school day begins at 9am and finishes at 3.05pm.

KS1 Playground Gate
The KS1  gate is opened at 8.45 am and closed at 9 am. This gate is used by the children and parents of Y1, Y2 and Y3. Staff will man the gate and the children may walk straight into school so that there is no waiting when the children arrive.  Any children who arrive after 9am will need to go into school via the school office. The school day starts at 9am.   

KS1 have a 15 minute break in the morning - Year 1 and 2 at 10.15 am. KS1 lunchtimes are staggered from 12 noon until 1.15 pm. In the afternoon, they have another break of 10 minutes when they may do their daily running. Afternoon sessions finish at 3.10pm for Y1 and Y2. 

KS2 Playground Gate 
The KS2 playground gate is opened at 8.45am for Years 4, 5 and 6. Year 3 come into school via the KS1 Playground Gate. The children may walk into school as soon as they arrive so that there is no waiting. Staff will man this gate for 15 minutes.  Any children arriving after this time will need to go into school via the school office. The school days starts at 9am. 

KS2 children have a 15 minute break in the morning. Lunchtime is staggered for the children between 12  and 1.15pm.  Afternoon lessons begin at 1pm and 1.15pm and finish at 3.15 pm.  

Assemblies take place on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons in the school hall.
